Position Title Senior Project Surveyor

Job Summary

Our Oxford office is currently seeking a full time Senior Project Surveyor to work on a variety of projects in and around Oxfordshire and London from £1m to £20m+. These projects are in a range of sectors that include Higher Education, Schools, Residential, Infrastructure, Science and Healthcare.

Job Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  • Working in accordance with AECOM safety policies

  • day-to-day delivery of high standards of cost management services for the projects you will be working on.

  • Competent in the preparation, reporting and presentation to clients of feasibility estimates, cost plans, contractor procurement, tenders, value engineering, fee generation, post contract cost reporting, change control, final accounts etc

  • Attending a range of project meetings through various stages of the project life cycle

  • Collating project performance information e.g. benchmark data, case studies, project profiles

  • Supporting bid and tender opportunities

  • Manage projects effectively using AECOM finance tools e.g. raising invoices, managing cost and revenue monthly reports

  • Be aware of capture and develop future opportunities

Minimum Requirements

  • Champions safe and secure working culture in accordance with SHE guidelines and procedures.

  • Recent experience in the Higher Education, Schools, Residential, Infrastructure, Science and Healthcare working for a consultancy

  • Able to work under own initiative where appropriate, but also keen to work as part of a team and to be mentored and to develop and progress in their career development.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills – Client facing.

  • Very good numeracy skills.

  • Keenness to challenge with an engaging manner

  • An enthusiasm to go the extra mile, to provide great client service.

  • Articulate and able to interface directly and confidently with Client Leads and Design Team Principals.

  • Achieves the highest standards of professional competence and to demonstrate this ability in all dealings with clients and professional contacts, reinforcing the profile of the company.

  • 5 years construction experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Qualified – Quantity Surveying Degree

  • Gained or Working towards Chartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or other equivalent institution

  • APM affiliation preferred (as secondary accreditation)

  • CSCS card#LI-B&PSB
